From The Pulpit With Bro. Bob Price
...Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (JN 8:32)

COMING TO YOU WEEKLY!

Think About This…

Did you ever stop to think of the words that each one of us share back and forth on a daily basis? It doesn’t matter what your faith or what your political bias, each one of us pass on a particular phrase every day of our lives. Every day you hand someone a piece of paper and on that piece of paper is the phrase “In God We Trust.”

You see that is printed and stamped on every piece of currency and coin in our nation. The question that needs to be asked of each of us is this: In God We Trust is stamped on our money, but is it stamped on our hearts? It is one thing to say that we trust in God, it is another thing to actually do it.

I think each one of us needs to stop for just a moment and ask ourselves the question: In what way today am I trusting in God? What have I done today that demonstrates that I truly trust in God?

America claims to be a Christian nation and 150 years ago our leaders felt it was necessary to publicly share that sentiment by placing our dependence on God on the very money of our country. Today, do your actions demonstrate what you carry in your pocket?
